Has anyone had a Sunroof fitted to an Octavia? If so what sunroof did you choose?

Only from factory.

I've seen a few fitted, I can have a word with the company that fitted them and find out what make they fit.

I know someone who fit a webasto one on their octavia sometime ago, it was one which went inside the roof liner (like the oem one) but it s never a flush fit to the roof like the factory fitted sunroof. You can see a lip from the outside

Did this in a previous vehicle. Came to really hate it. Too hot when closed, and the cooling breeze I had hoped for did not materialise when open. Plus the sun became really uncomfortable in the south of France.

They fit a Webasto roof, as described above.

I wish my Octavia had a sunroof. Any pics of Retro fitted ones?

Not sure why yours would have been so rubbish as my factory one does everything I want. Perhaps the slidey cover keeps it from getting hot inside, I dunno. Fantastic optional extra for me, albeit with the complication that it's one more thing to go round or potentially creak, but the downside is soooo minimal.
