Hi, I am new to this forum, and also new to owning a Skoda. I have been reading with interest about Battery ratings, mine is a 61Ah style and believe it should or could be more powerful, particularly for the larger Diesels. Starting is becoming slower after only three years. Any comments most welcome.

Most modern cars with to many power sucking gadgets and shortish runs suffer from the same problem new cars are even worse.The answer is to put charger connecters on your battery+hook up to a optimate a smart charger all the time whilst it is parked either in garage or drive,if its in the roadway get it somewhere you can give it a long slow charge.
