Mintex - thoughts please

Featured Replies

Needing new rear discs and pads and was just going to replace the fronts too while I'm at it. Normally would just go for genuine skoda but have seen some Mintex discs and pads at a good price. Anybody had them and are they better or worse than standard?

Good enough pads in my experience, but I have heard reports of squealing.

Brembos here, they do a good service - http://www.nextdaybrakes.com/

I have Mintex on my front end, stop fine, no squealing and have been round Castle Combe with them with hardly any brake fade either, better than the standard pads

havent tried discs, but have had discs on my other motors with no issues

I just noticed they are out of stock apart from the rear pads atm :/

Mintex are OK, identical performance to OE spec Pagid

Mintex make pads for Brembo

Mintex are fine buddy.

You'll most likely be able to get them at a local factors

Thanks folks, good feedback then, found them on eBay, £60 delivered for the rear discs and pads for the vRS, doesn't sound bad to me
