Ok so this error message comes up on my mums galaxy s everytime you try to do anything. If you touch something it will appear

A google search hasn't brought anything up, anyone any clues?

looks as if an app has messed up something. Are the apps stored on the external Micro SD card? Try turning off and remove the card then restart.

I assume they are on an SD card, yeah. Good thinking, will try removing it to see and get back to you lol

Ok, done that, unlocked phone and error came straight back up so it must be on the phone itself....

Looks like a rogue app has been installed maybe.

Are you able to get into the apps lists and see if you can uninstall any funny looking apps.

may need to do a hard reset if Phil's suggestion doesn't work :( Can you still back up your contacts, photos etc (NOT APPS) via Kies?

If all else fails you can do a factory reset but holding certain buttons while turning on, you may need to google to see what they are for your specific phone. It will mean everything will go but at least you should get a working phone.

Seems it was something to do with a jap keyboard being active. God knows how that's happened (mums phone) or why on earth it should stop the phone working! Glad I don't have one!

Just two presses on the keyboard will do it (language and the then country)

It says: Google Pinyin input method. Meaning its Chinese keyboard not being happy.
