Fitting new spark plugs

Featured Replies

I got some new spark plugs (NGK 7s) for the car towards the end of last year but for various reasons never got round to fitting them. Been looking through the various threads on plugs and found the gap setting but can't see any reference to torque for them. Can someone give me a steer?

Haven't changed plugs for many years and a bit wary after almost stripping a thread on an old 306 glow plug many years ago!

RAC man changed mine first with much puffing and panting, when removing the coil packs.

Garage did the next lot, as a special tool is required.

Maybe a member has carried this out successfully, but I would give it a miss personally.
