I have a Columbus head unit on it's way to me from Fleabay but it needs the maps updating/reinstalling however Heritage Skoda in Yeovil (my local dealer) won't update the maps unless I purchase a new set of discs for nearly £200!!!

If anyone has the discs in the Somerset area and does not mind me using them in return for a small fee/beer I would be very grateful.

I thought they would be one-unit only, and this is essentially breaching copyright?

Not 100% sure how the Columbus / Maps thing works though. If this does out to be as I am guessing, it will be swiftly deleted as is not allowed to be done publically.

I was not aware it worked like that, I thought it was just Skoda charging me for a simple update.

Waiting for someone to clarify as I have no experience with the units. Didn't think they were meant for sharing.

My Columbus arrived today and it came with a Skoda Navigation V.7 DVD which was not expected so I am now sorted.

Glad you got sorted. V9 are available via VW and are a great improvement.
