Hi, guys

i'm sure i had read about this happening but had a search and canny find it.

so here it goes...

got in the car the other morning and its dark so flicked on to sidelights and the drl's didn't dim but flicked off and on between changing from no sidelights to sidelights. so put driving lights on and they didn't dim either.

thought stuff this and drove to work when i got there had a closer look and on driving lights the drl's dim slowly you can watch they dim down. i've noticed the switch doesn't go from no lights to sidelights so smoothly any more

so guessing its buggered

Anyone else had any problems with this switch?

Not the switch itself, but my NS DRL didn't dim when switching on the headlights a few weeks ago (I never bother with the side/parking lights position) whereas the OS one did.

NS DRL packed up completely a day or two later; replacement was ordered Friday...crack (stone chip?) on the lens has allowed water in as its full of condensation.

I know you say its the On off Sidelight to Headlight switch and it might well be.

Also check that the DRL's Switched off switch behind the panel is fully on the On position & not moved slightly.

Do the Sidelights work as a single 'Parking Light' OK,?

no key in and Indicator stalk down to either side.
