Cant find my MaxiScan 405 to see if will clear my service light as its doing my head in beeping all the time,does anyone know if this will clear it as dont want to buy another and it wont,also if anyones in the manchester area and has one or can clear service light let us know.

Are you on fixed or variable servicing?

If fixed then you can reset the service reminder by the dashboard (instructions are in the handbook) if variable however then you need VCDS etc to reset it, there is a list / map of VCDS owners in my signature.

Thanks looks like it can be reset as the service light is not displayed anymore will know for certain when i head out to work later.

Well looks like i will have to find someone with VCDs as service light is still beeping and flashing at me seems even worse now must of gone of around 10 times within 10 mile.
