VRS estate replacement exhaust?

Featured Replies

Had a slight rattle on the car this week, and upon investigation, the exhaust is hanging far lower at the back of the car than it was, and it moves up and down quite a bit too, so I MAY need a replacement.

Father-in-law's my mechanic, and he's abroad this week, so I'll get him to stick it up on the ramps when he gets back, hopefully a bit of creative welding will rectify it!

If not, can anyone recommend me a reasonably priced replacement? Would prefer stock if possible, or if not, something reasonably quiet.

On a side note, are the estate and hatch exhausts the same? Cheers

Estate and hatch are the same I believe. It's probably just a worn exhaust rubber. They're pretty hard on back rubbers, mostly because the middle hanger tends to fall off the exhaust (read: corrode) and leave it hanging heavy on the rear.

Thanks for the reply, fingers crossed it's just something simple and repairable. :)
