respray fun ?

Featured Replies

hi guys my fun is black also black on log book (i know this aint rite lol)

the question is its coming off the road so i can odo a few bits and respray it but do i keep it black or put it bk to yellow ?

Yellow, they look awsome in yellow!

Somewhere I've got the yellow colour codes for the body and the plastic.

In my opinion the skoda funs look pukka in yellow! I am going to respray mine all one yellow though, dont think they look right another colour. Rainbowfire if you do find the colour codes could you let me know? Cheers for now Jack.

Hi dil1986, a while back remember seeing a black one up for sale on ebay, now in your ownership perhaps?

When it comes to the Fun I'm a traditionalist & haven't seen many that better the original. Personally I don't like them in one colour but each to their own preference wise. Colour wise I'm using Skoda 9124 for the bodywork & 6150 for the trim, supplied from a local body shop. However it's still a bugger to match up with 14 years of grime & uv!

Good luck with yours & look forward to seeing the piccys in the future.

Cheers,

Rob. ;)

i'd like to see one painted in porsche macademia brown just to see what it looks like

ta guys mite have to go yellow :)

can any1 get me the colour codes ?

any1 know what the colour is for the wheels ?

and how easy or hard is it to change the colour bk on log book and timescale wise ?

Changing colour on the log book is easy stuff, just fill it in, and you will probably have the v5 back inside a week.... Changing engine size however is a different story..

Hi, as my previous post colour guidance wise & not 100% sure re: wheels. For touching up I tend to use the same as main bodywork.

Just re-check prior to actual application ;)

ye sound it will b so i can get them refurbed at work and yes rob i brought this just before xmas on ebay :)

We are painting our fun blue with alpine white alloys. Hope to be less visible then! At the minute the fun does rather shout "ooohhhh look at me!!!"

Think that's the idea ;)

Very useful fordfan

The mixed colour I'm using is confirmed equivalent to 6518. As said, fine for complete respray but still tricky to blend to existing :smirk:

haha true... but i just remember being constantly pulled by the old bill when i was in my old yellow'un! Might be because i was a "yoof" and the associated stereotypism however.

Yep could be, you certainly don't buy one to remain inconspicuous ! :o:smirk:

I hire one out as a getaway car. I don't get much business.
