312mm Upgrade Help?

Featured Replies

Hi All

I am about to do the 312mm upgrade on my VRS SE Fabia this weekend. i only have the front calipers & carriers for from a Octavia VRS ( These are stamped with Audi Badge? ).

Does anyone know the part number of the discs o need as their seems to be many options on the net for the 312mm Calipers.

Many thanks all info much appreciated

Cheers

Octavia vRS, Audi TT, Seat Leon they all had the same fitment AFAIK

Cheers for your info are you 100% sure this is correct?

I believe mine had an Audi logo on them, even though they came from an Octavia vRS and they've been absolutely fine since September.

Discs and pads i think are more buyers choice, providing they say they are 312mm.

My 312mm upgrade came from a Scirocco. Fits straight on to an Octavia. I thought the Fabia was 100x5? not 112x5, or has it changed?

I believe the Mk1 Octavia was 5x100 and the Mk2 Octavia 5x112 but could be wrong with that.

No that is spot on:

MKI Octavia, MKI TT etc are 5x100

MKII Octavia, MKII TT, Scirocco etc are 5x112

If using online sites, ECP etc, to fine discs and pads make sure you select the appropriate donor car rather than a Fabia and all will be fine.

True. I have used the reg plate of a Mk1 Octavia vRS being broken on eBay before to look up the discs/pads i might need. :)

I use a 2003 Audi TT 1.8T to find the 312mm discs and pads.

Speaking of the Audi logo, I'm going to collect some calipers on Saturday that have it stuck on!

Not fussed though as I'm painting them anyway.
