Thinking of getting a different air filter for my Monte Carlo.. Any advice on what ones you recommend, want my car to roar a lil

Something from k&n, pipercross or green cotton etc.... Will probabaly have the desired effect

You know roughly how much I'm gonna have to spend?

Ram air, better filtration then cotten plus nice roar

No idea theres loads of diffrent kinds and variantion

Have a look at something like demon tweaks website, theyl have most brands

I have a ram air enclosed, love it nice roar when supercharger kicks in, ram air is cheaper then most and i cant fault it, go on give it a try :p

What engine do you have in your monte?

I ebayed it cant remember size or anything can check guys tomoz, the only problem i think you might face is the enclosed unit wont fit directly on to the throttle body housing for this i butchered a stainless pipe from a induction pipe i had on a saxo. This i think happens with the itg aswell.

I have a pipe running to it from back of drl

She's a 1.2... Runs a beaut though don't wanna go as extreme as an exhaust just a little roar is what I'd like xx

You would need silcon connection/reducers,
