Hi all

I`m thinking of replacing my Accord i-ctdi tourer. This is purely because I fancy a change. The car has served me well for the past 7 years and is still running sweet as a nut. I put that down to being a long time member of a couple of Accord forums and appreciate the benefits of being part of a strong community devoted to helping out and sharing information with like minded members, and so here I am.

I`m now retired and looking for a reliable, comfy car to spend some of my pension money on and to enable me to get around the country on the numerous weekends away my other half will surely have planned for me.

I`ve got my eye on a Superb, either estate or saloon/hatchback, but preferably an estate. I`ve read through many posts already as part of my research and have loads of questions to ask as, being my first possible Skoda purchase, I`ve found that with the amount of toys fitted to the Superb and alledged problems there is much I need to learn.

That being said I`ll ask the questions in the main body of the forum as I know that this information is more likely to be read by others if it the thread has an appropriate title.

Oh no that's put a spanner in the works. And I thought the anti-anything German on some Honda forums was just banter
