Xenon headlights

Featured Replies

Does anybody know what is needed to upgrade to the oem xenon headlights,or are they jut plug and play? Thanks

You also need the sensors that fit to the rear suspension and associated wiring loom.

I think you also need additional wiring loom to the light themselves.

Would be much cheaper and easier to get some of the Depo (or similar) projector lights and fit a decent 4300K HID kit.

They are plug and play. You dont need the auto leveling as it wasnt fitted as standard and the same with the washers.

But as phil said its cheaper to buy the depo ones and hids. they look better as they have black inserts.

any links to the depo ones/

You don't happen to know why the black insert projectors are nearly half the cost of the chrome insert ones that WingmirrorWoman sells do you?

The only explanation I've seen is that if someone needed a replacement then they would have to pay a premium in order for it to match the standard one. Or if you wanted an OEM look with projectors then you'd have to pay even more.

The black inserts look alright IMO! I split mine and painted them :)

As above, if you prang your oem ones they'll make a decent wack out of you either way hence the price difference.

In that case then, black inserts it will be when I've got a bit spare cash lying around! :D
