The symbol for low washer fluid on the dash is acting up on me. It only lights up very dim most of the time (it works as it should, only lights up when ignition is switched on and when fluid is low) but the odd time it will be perfect. I tried a new sensor but it made no difference. I'm guessing the problem is in the cluster somewhere? Bad connecting in the plug or on the led in the dash? Anyone any ideas? It's not a major issue but it kinda annoys me when everything else is working 100% 04 fabia vrs

Finally picked up a bumper with washer jets and got them plumbed and wired up. Ran one wire from the relay board out to the washer bottle via the grommet at the back of the glove box. Everything else was done inside. I got some connection's from a scrap car for the fuse box, light switch and ccm. 2 big connections needed for the fuse box. 2 for the ccm and 1 for the light switch. Wiring is as Baz said above. Pin 85 on the relay went to pin 14 on the 18 pin connector marked XS2 on the ccm. Pin 11 on the light switch to pin 1 on the 6 pin connector marked XS1 on ccm

I will be doing ball joints, both wishbone bushings, track rod ends, drop links and top mounts

Are you running standard vrs springs?

Cheers Damian. Guess they are just for the standard pd 100 then even if the seller has them listed for the vrs. Any idea of what other options/prices I'm looking at?

Hi folks. I have a 2004 fabia vrs and I'm thinking of doing an overhaul of the suspension. I have owned the car almost 5 years and have covered 70k (just over 200k on the clock now) and the only work the suspension has had is cupra console bushings when I bought it and 2 sets of drop links along the way. Just wondering has anyone used these b4's before and what are they like? They seem reasonably cheap on ebay (have yet to price local motor factors) Any help or advice appreciated Sean

Sorry to dig up an old post but on my 2004 fabia vrs relay number 11 works my rear wiper and interior fan. Is that right?

Can't see any problem with the wiring.. no sign of any marks or cuts...

Hi guys. Having a bit of a problem with my 04 Vrs. Happened a couple of times where the car would start them cut out straight away as in the Immobilizer cut it out. Usually started after a couple of times trying. One day it wouldn't start (start and cut out). I removed battery leads for a few mins and it started then. Removed all faults with vcds and was grand for a day or two. Yesterday after starting Airbag, Abs, traction, Steering and engine lights came on along with flashing handbrake light and speedo not working but it did start and drive. Removed battery and left it out over night and re fitted it this morning. Cleared all codes and checked the fuses on top of the battery. Later today it started and cut out twice before running. Engine and Airbag lights on. Cleared them and drove it for a bit. Stopped and started it about 20 times and it was grand. Any ideas what to check/look out for? I checked fuses on top of the battery (removed and cleaned them). I checked the battery with a multi meter with engine running and stopped. Also got the battery tested with halfords machine. All was good. I'll put up pictures of scans and would love to hear any feed back. Thanks in advance Sean
