2.0 Tdi 4x4 rear brake caliper mounting bolt torque settings?

Featured Replies

Hi All, I've got to change the rear pads and disc's on my 2008 2.0 170 Tdi 4x4, the job looks fairly simple but all the instructions and guides recommend the 8mm caliper bolts and the and the caliper mounting spline drive bolts should be torque up when replacing, does any one know the torque settings for these bolts and whilst im asking also the front caliper mounting bolts, is it also advisable to use a bit of thread lock on these bolts?

Cheers All.
