Octy VRS mk1 front disc recommendations

Featured Replies

It would seem mine are warped.

It will have to wait until pay day - but what brand etc disc would anyone recommend please? I can't go silly on the money front but don't want to skimp on the cheapest etc.

While we are on the subject - what's the consensus on pads? I can get Ferodo ones quite cheap.

TIA

it would take a lot to warp discs! are you sure they are warped and not just dirty?

I just put new front discs on mine yesterday, £42 quid for the pair from my local factors, (+£15 for pads).

I would usually go mintex (£65 for the pair) but thought I'd try these out, called Juratek. Drove home in the snow and they need bedded in so don't know what like yet, but they came recommended and 'look' the part.

Pretty sure they are warped

Pagid

I use euro car parts due to the click and collect system being soo simple, always try and get a better discount from the counter staff first and got an extra £3 off wiper blades once lol. Unfortunately you have to get the right guy lol

Use promotion code BRISK25 online at eurocarparts & you get 25% discount.

Ment an extra £3 after the brisky discount lol. Just asked what's the best you can do, some play ball and give the bottom price others can't be bothered so ask for my click and collect order lol, it's great that you pay on collection lol

Thanks guys...£67 for the pair it would seem

Pagid? Not bad at all. May as well replace the pads too, be wrong not to.

yeah that's on the agenda lad

New pads is a must when fitting new discs.

Pagid all the time, tried lots of different stuff over the years and Pagid have been the best.

I've got pagid's all round and to be honest I gave up running them in properly after 2 days, got bored and they've been fine lol
