Right my steering rack killed itself the other day. Skint just now so going for a reconditioned one of ebay. Think I herd so thing about a tt rack fitting the vrs is that true and what's the benefits? Do I need anything else or just the rack?

Yep 2WD TT, R32 or S3 racks fit and are quicker and feel better IMHO.

Black one is a TT rack (I painted it) , other is my standard one.

Job's not that hard to do and entails dropping the subframe.

The TT rack trackrods are thicker and need different ends but you can remove the flexi boot and swap your vRS ends onto the TT rack.

Just needs a 32mm spanner.
