Is this android tablet worth it?

Featured Replies

I'm after an android tablet, want a 10 inch one as a 7 inch ain't that much bigger than my Galaxy lol.

Gonna use it for surfing the net, playing games and watching Netflix, sky go etc.

Seen a ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101 16gb which is refurbished with a 12 month guarantee for under £250, includes the keyboard docking station which also increases the battery life and acts as a stand etc which is something I'd like. The reviews seem good.

Has anyone got any experience and is the price ok?

No one got any experience or ideas on price? :(

Personally I'm not sure I'd go for a refurb. I've had a few issues with refurb electronics in the past. But that's personal choice.

Price seems reasonable. Nexus 10 without any extras is £320 +PnP

It's sold direct from the manufacturer's site, so I guess it's them that do the refurbishment. Probably ones that had been sent back due to lil faults that they've repaired.

Seen some other refurbished ones that only come with a 3 month warranty, wouldn't take the risk with those

There have been some deals on galaxy tab 2 for the same price recently.

Try hotukdeals for any current offers. Usually they're at Tesco

Just bought a Versus 10" Android tablet for my daughter's birthday. £169 from PC World. Seems ok so far, although it's early days.

I got my TF300F second hand and my wife's refurbished from the US.

32GB Quad core. Both with dockable keyboards. Paid about $320 AUD each

The refurb was $290 USD from a dealer on eBay.

Both work perfectly and running Android 4.2.1
