Im sure I have seen comments before on this - but last night I went out to the car and all 4 windows were down - do we have any ideas how this happens - or how to disable it? I have vcds so can do updates

If you hold down the 'unlock' button on the remote control for long enough this will happen. Could be this happened inadvertently in your pocket.

Was it raining or had it been raining?

I seem to remember reading something similar to this before and it was suggested that water had got in to the lock mechanism. A safety feature meant that if water got into the lock mechanism it would open all electric windows to allow escape if the vehicle was submerged in water?

I'm not actually sure if you can disable this function in VCDS, it's possible you can.

But if you have rain sensing wipers you can enable rain closing.....where the windows close if it starts raining.

Correction to my last.....I've just been playing around with VCDS and you can disable the windows opening with remote control (comfort function)

It's is one of the adaptations in 46-central convenience. You can switch it on or off.

Thanks all - the keys where hanging up at the time so no one was touching them - it was raining slightly. I think i will turn it off I am sure this has happened once before
