Stereo cage help fitting lupo twin cup holder

Featured Replies

The previous owner of my car had a double din stereo fitted and cut away the back of the stereo cage as i found out now im trying to fit my lupo cup holder so there is no loacating hole to hold the cup holder steady at the back of the cage, is the stereo cage part of the center console or is it seperate i havent had time to strip it all back yet to see but want to get a new cage ready for me to fit when i have time, ive got a feeling its all part of the console.

Have you tried putting the stereo in below it and seeing if it helps? You will need to make some spacers to put in between the stereo and cup holder, I used cardboard, it stops the front from Being loose and moving up and down. Can't remember if the cup holder located in the hole at the back properly

Hi raf i have already put the stereo at the bottom after seeing the guide you had on here its just the top rear half of the cage is missing and the location hole is missing i tryed the cup holder in the bottom as the loacation hole is still there and it fitted so i want to get a new cage that has the top location hole so its solid and oem if that makes sense ,are your holders at a slight forwards pointing angle when they are out ie you might spill a full can of drink .my wifes seat alhambrah ones seem to be much more level than these .

Yeh they do tilt forwards slightly, but I have never spilt a drop after taking a lil sip including speed bumps lol

Try asking one of the members that are braking an octy to have a look and see if it's removable
