Wheel sizes(again)

Featured Replies

currently in Frnace and happened upon a V6 4x4 in the stret so just had to check his wheels/tyres.

They were 17" 225x50 compared to my They are the only ones that fit sir 18" 225x40 .

so it is true- the Europeans have a better choice.

The size 225/50 is not allowed oficialy by Skoda - understand in COC of the car. Depends where the car is exported and registered - legislative. Here in Belgium I was informed that Belgium does not require allowed wheels either - ET offset or size. In Czech or Germany is essential what is in COC.

But be careful what the insurance company will accept and what not in case of accident.
