2010 Octavia VRS (Facelift) Race Blue TSI DSG -

Featured Replies

I really don't want to have to sell this car but I have been offered company car (Golf MK7 2.0GT) and so it seems like a no brainer decision financially.

The car is in excellent condition, as you can see from the pics. The interior is unmarked half leather and it has the touch screen Bolero stereo and Maxi-dot drivers information system. Cruise control, Dual zone climate etc

It is in the best VRS colour, Race Blue!

I bought the car in May last year and I have only covered 5,000 miles since. It has done less than 3000 since the £500 Shark performance remap which has not only improved the performance to 253bhp but also improved the mpg. The car will easily achieve 40mpg on a run.

All four tyres are very good, 6mm on the back and pair of brand new tyres on the front. It also had all new brake pads in the last 6 months and a fluid change.

The car had a few stone chips on the bumper and there is only one bit of damage on the car, a couple of weeks ago someone left me a parking dent on the drivers rear arch, about the size of a 2p coin. Was planning to get it sorted but not much point now. The paint is not broken, cracked or scratched and so a good dent removal guy may be able to sort it cheaply.

The deal:

This is as opportunity to get a real bargain as basically new company car arrives first week of April and I am really busy at work. So the standard car is worth about £8800 to £9500 according to Parkers. The remap and extras came to over £700

£8500 (for a quick sale. price already reflects the ding in the arch, and no offers thanks)

Please PM for my number or email at [email protected]

Thanks

Ron

That is a lot of car for the money! Always wanted one of these but Fabia fits on my drive (just!)

GLWS!

Just noticed you've also posted it elsewhere for £8995?

Yes, that is the ONO price. But I wanted it to go to a Brisky member ideally and so I've put my rock bottom price on here.

When I get back from the US on April 1st, I'll be putting it in the trader, ebay etc at £8995 and then let people knock that down a bit :(

I think thats a great price. I recently (6 weeks ago) traded my 60 plate (2010) vRS TSI, and got £10.5k at the dealers. So £8500 for a nicely modded version is a bargain for someone.

GLWS :)

Lot of car for £8.5k! must be one of the cheapest facelifts around. :)

Yep, those items are off the car now. However not sold yet so a deal could be done ;)

I should have also added that it has just had 2 new rainsport 2 tyres on the front that cost me £250!

Hi Folks,

Sorry fro the delay in reply to the guys who have sent me questions. Almost as soon as I posted the car up for sale, I was shipped out to the US for work. I am back on Easter Sunday and will be getting back on the case with selling the car.

Will also get interior pics up as people have been asking, the interior is mint, no scratches or stains....I am fussy :)

Cheers

Ron
