would like Octavia VRS

Featured Replies

Considering buying Octavia VRS FSi some questions I need answering. I gather this is a 2L engine with turbo does it have supercharger also. what is the power output?

Does it have super low profile tyres I hope not?

Is the exhaust tuned? Does it sound good? or is it a standard?

Is it significantly faster than my Octavia 1.8 TSi

Is it chain cam or belt?

One on offer at skoda dealer £16k 5miles only 6months old pre reg.

Is it chain cam or belt?

IMHO unless it's a styling issue prob not worth moving from the 1.8TSI to the 2.0TSI

2.0 TSi is turbo only - no supercharger.

Exhaust is a sporty one but not a properly loud one or anything.

I found the exhaust note from the vRS to be very quiet and understated

Exhaust note on my TSi is non existent, other than a rather whooshing sound like an industrial swing machine at WOT above 4k. Tfsi that I had previously had a much sportier "bassier" sound to it.
