Hi folks

Featured Replies

Newly registered but been lurking a few weeks :)

Been driving a Nissan 200sx S14a for the last 12 years but now I really need something that will take child seats in the back for the Grandkids.

Have driven a couple of Octavia VRS's recently at work and have really taken to them, so I'm here to learn a bit and maybe even buy one !! (Must be DSG though - had autos since 1996 and find manual cars a pain in the *** nowadays)

You seem like a very friendly bunch from reading the forums - very similar to SXOC, so I won't be shy when it comes to asking a few dumb questions :giggle:

Welcome to Briskoda. :) One of my sons really misses the 300hp+ S14a he used to own. You did well to keep yours in one piece for that length of time.

Thanks for the welcome.

Yes - when you feel the back end coming past you for the first time in the wet, you soon learn to be ever so careful !

Rust had been a constant battle for the last couple of years and it will be a wrench to see the car go as it has never let me down, - super reliable. After seeing an Octavia (ex taxi) recently with 275,000 miles on the clock, I hope I will get similar reliability when I finally find one !!

My son now drives a 2002 VW Bora TDI Sport PD150 - but gets his excitement from also owning a 1000cc Yamaha YZF-R1. He still dreams of owning another S14a and visits SXOC from time to time.

Hi and welcome aboard.

I have a friends who are in the Jap club and a few of them have S13's and 14's, i would love a S14.
