Superb service part bargains for DIY

Featured Replies

Hi

Just noticed ECP has now 30% off everything, so decided to buy all service parts for my superb Superb :) till the next TB job (2-3 years away).

At £3.50 vs dealership £15+ for exactly the same oil filter (made by Hengst), I'd say it's worth it. Fuel, air and cabin filters are at similar discounts. Best to stick to Hengst or Bosch, if it says "premium quality", google manufacturer part number, frequently it is Bosch. Oil is also at decent prices, TripleX PD rated 5W40 505.01 is £25 / 5l, Castrol Edge 5W30 rated VW507 is £30/4l (for my Roomster) . Delivery free. There probably exist other suppliers which may be even cheaper, but for the hassle free online order this is hard to beat.

Anyway, end of post before someone thinks it's a commercial :) Looking forward to next Skoda dealership purchase... at the earliest when I run out of service parts :giggle:
