Help needed for decoding faultcodes

Featured Replies

Hi all

On my skoda octavia 1.6 gasoline, the engine light is on. I went to the skoda dealer and they told me that the EGR vent and some tubes needed to be replaced. A few days after the vent and tubes was replaced, the engine light went on again and this time they told me that the fuel mixture needed to be adjusted. This time i didn't believe them, and I bought a vag-com cable to readout the fault codes myself.

First the symptoms. The engine runs irregularly at steady speed and in idle. Periodically it is more intense.

Here is the fault codes :

I need some help locating the issue. From the fault codes above I think is might be the MAF sensor or a bad lambda sensor, but i'm not sure. Does anybody have a clue about what is wrong with my car?

Seeing as you are using VCDS lite look at the Ross tech wiki.
