This has probably been asked before but i cant find anything using the search facility, when i stage 2 my vrs i was going to fit a forge fmic but looking into im not sure if i will benefit as im not going for the big 'mouth' bumper so cud i get just as good results using a forge smic? Thanks Yatsy

I don't have the wide mouth bumper and my forge works very well. Before I went stage 2 I did a few logs. Std intercooler would reach temps of 90 deg plus, forge couldn't get it over 20 deg.

Uprated smic's are rubbish

They also top 90 degree's

I ran a ths fmic on mine and my peak temp was 36 degree's on a rolling road after about 10 runs in peak summer

I also didnt have a big mouth front end
