Rif Wheel Trims

Featured Replies

Time coming to change back from winter to summer wheel/tyres. Anyone have advice on best way to remove Rif Skoda wheel trims from steel wheels? They were a very tight fit to go on and I am not sure of the safest way to remove them without damaging the plastic trim.

Anyone changed back to summer tyres yet?

We still have snow around so I'm waiting a few days at least. Weather is a joke for Easter time

Already removed ours when I had a go at fixing the brakes. Just got hold of the trims approx 10 to 2 and gave them a good heave and they popped off :giggle:

Cleaned and de-stone'd the tyres and given them a coat of auto glym rubber care.

Statistically we get snow at Easter more often than we do at Christmas.

Down here in sunny Weymouth, we either get no snow or tons (it all depends on the direction of arrival). Further inland the country roads soon get very icy with packed snow.

I was going to change back to my summer rubber last weekend but the temps were way down.

I will probably put them back this weekend, I think they have less than 800 miles on them, as I didn't get the car till early October, and the winters went on at the end of that month.
