Torque app

Featured Replies

I have a Bluetooth dongle that I have used with my celica with great success. I am wondering if people on here have used them particularly with torque app on a mk1 octavia vrs.

I am looking at buying 1 in the next few weeks so I am hoping to use the dongle to run a couple of scans before buying.

Obviously for error codes but also for a boost leak. Can anyone confirm that I can read the boost pressure?

No experience of using it on an Octavia, but the Skoda is OBD-II compliant so I can't see why it shouldn't work. You didn't mention if you had the free or full version of Torque, but I can confirm that on the full version you can definitely read boost (it's under realtime information)...

It is the full version that I have got. I just wasn't sure if there would be any sort of interference, I know vag-com is the 'tool' to use but I'd rather buy the car first lol

Il get a couple of screens set up ready for the realtime info

There's a thread in the mk1 section.

I find the boost reading a bit hit and miss to be honest
