Lol. yea I like megiires. But then couldn't think if to get gold class or nxt. Might just stick with dodo juice as I've still got lime green primer and half tub of purple haze wax, :)

Try the nxt mate... Iirc was only £15 so see what you think ;)

Have a look round Autobrite's website, there products are brilliant. There shampoo is very good, well worth a look and they are very good prices too.

I have used a lot of Meguiars stuff and agree is good, but i have been put off by the fact gold class and nxt are not that easy to remove like a lot of other polish and waxes. certainly if you do more than one panel at a time. ( i mean hand buff not machine also). I have used poorboys and smart wax recently

like this one as well as easy to put on a remove

I use poorboys black hole glaze I think its called. Its quite good and lasts about 2-3 months if applied properly and in multiple coats the first time from what I remember. I also use their wheel sealent which I'm undecided about as its the first sealant I've used. It definitely works but doesn't stay on for that long. I need to try another brands product before I make my mind up on that one though.

My octavia is black magic also.

Like bowders i have used alot of meguiars products and although i havnt used much other than them or autoglym, i cant say ive ever been dissapointed. But will also agree that their waxes take ALOT of buffing by hand! NXT more so than gold.

IM on the look out for a good wax for applying by hand on black gold now.

Poorboys black hole is a kind of filler so you need a wax over that really(it fills a lot of little fine swirls), I use it then wax with collinite 845/912 or Dodo. The shine you can get from just black hole and dodo is brilliant and well worth the effort. I've also got the poorboys wheel sealant and to be honest there's better out there.

I use Chemical guys glossworkz. Amazing shampoo, really makes the paint pop.

I have used PB blackhole... its ok but you have to put a wax/sealant over it otherwise it will wash out. Once again I will be going for glossworkz glaze over PB. the reflectivity of it is just so much more intense.

In fact, here is a list of what I would suggest

Mitt: Microfibre madness mitt

Clothes: Polished Bliss buffing towels

Towel: Polished Bliss drying towel

2 buckets

Shampoo: Chemical Guys Glossworkz

Snow foam: Elite car care foam

Wheels: Bilberry

Quick detailer: CG Pro detailer

Glaze: CG Glossworkz Glaze

Sealant: Poorboys EXP sealant

Wax: Poorboys Natty blue

Half it can be bought from polished bliss with free shipping and the chemical guys stuff can be bought from their site. Discount codes DW1 DW2

Pretty sure no one told me this when I bought it :( Ah well, live and learn. I'll have to invest in some wax for it as soon as possible, probably look at the ones you mention.

My friend was doing that, putting on black hole and just watching it all wash away.

As soon as you get some wax on top of it you'll see the difference. It's a forum fella we are all hear to talk and learn. As for wheel sealant I'm going Gtechniq wheel sealant, I'm just refurbing a set of spyders for the summer so they will be getting C5, I've not used it yet but have never heard a bad word said about it. It's strong money for a 15ml bottle but looks amazing.

I still find autoglym SRP hard to beat to use before a wax and sealant. Easy to use and gives a great base polish. Not yet found a best top wax to stick with. Used dodo before think the hard wax (light Fantastic and rainforest rub)and found those hard to remove. (smells nice though)

Its an ok product, people love it because it has a slight cut and is packed with fillers which creates beading. Really you should never wax on top of polish, it should be IPA wiped off, glazed, sealed and waxed.

To everyone finding it hard to remove wax:

Get yourself a good quality quick detailer, spray in on the waxed area and buff off. It helps lift strong waxes with out causing heavy duty marring.

i use the poor boys blue nattys paste , black hole and meguirs sealant , but just use the cheap pink meguirs shampoo as rinses easy foams well and doesn't strip the wax

as above the wheel sealant makes the rims look nice :)

Yeah I will definitely be giving this a go :) The thing is it didn't wash off super fast but you are right, it didn't last as long as I would like.
