Hi. I have a 2011 Octavia Estate which has developed a problem with the front interior light.

It doesn't work. Basically, the bulb seems fine, but the light only works very occasionally/intermittently.

Are there any likely issues that I can target as the cause?

Intermittent operation sounds like a dodgy connection problem.

Is the bulb seated properly? Are the connectors in the light unit properly pushed home? Is the fuse loose? Are the door switches working correctly? Jiggle the selector switch on the unit - does that affect it?

Do you still have the same problem with a new/different bulb in the unit?
