Help fitting a OMP / Momo steering wheel

Featured Replies

Hi Folks

Anyone got any pics of the wiring for the fitment of one of these.

steering wheel came with boss and few wires , think for airbag bypass, but no instructions....

When i fit my momo wheel i used the existing airbag loom and removed airbag connector and just put some spades on the horn connections. As for the airbag just disable with vcds takes 2 mins. Airbag light flashes 5 times on startup then goes off :-) no need for resistors mate

Ah ok cheers

Did you leave all the parts still attached when you removed the steering wheel, i.e the plastic ring etc.

This is what i did mate. aftermarket wheels usually just have male spade terminals on the horn. No need to remove slip ring bud just remove airbag(hardest bit) then either use a spline socket or can get away with a big torx bit. Wip the std wheel off, mod the loom as above then connect horn up and fit the new wheel :-)
