Hi Everyone.

I'm hopefully trading in my Seat Ibiza cupra tonight for a red mk1 Octavia VRS reg: WX53LSL. I'm really going to miss my faithful Ibiza its a hoot to drive but living in Liverpool it just isn't at all comfortable on the roads round here so its time to go. I've Always like the MK1 Octavia since watching them in the early 00's on the WRC stages. When i watched the network rally in 2003 in wales i always liked them for some reason. My then favorite driver Petter Sollberg won the rally and championship and now funnily enough the Octavia I'm looking at is a 53 plate. Is it meant to be? I hope so.

Got my new octavia on tuesday night and discovered clunking in the front suspension (which i didnt notice on the test drive grr) anyway just picked it up from my local garage after having the recomended arb bushes and droplinks replaced and im happy to say the car is now great. just got some slight hesitancy at low revs / throttle to cure now and ill be happy as pie!

Hi.... Just a bit of as heads up.... I got in my Superb 1.4 TSi 2018 (50,000 miles) on Friday night and the engine started making an almighty rattling / clattering / knocking noise. When I took it to a local indy garage the next day they said it sounds exactly like another Skoda they had in the previous week. The one they looked at before wasn't a Superb (can't remember which model they said), but it had done similar relatively low mileage and a bolt was loose at the camshaft p

Hi everyone. First off, apologies if this has already been covered. I did take a look but couldn't find anything specific. For history, it's a 13 plate TDI vrs Octavia (MK2) was rattling like a good un' so replaced clutch and flywheel (and slave cylinder) did do a SMFW conversion too. Turns out, that WAS a problem, but the gearbox is also shot, so that's on my list to replace next. Started and drove home fine that night. Next day, I drove it to work (about 20 minutes) no problems. Hi All, I'm new to the forum, this being my first post. I am loving the community so far. I have not long ago got a new to me 2016 Octavia Scout. ODBEleven is showing a P047000 'Exhaust Pressure Sensor "A" Circuit'. I did a little searching around has not found much about this exact fault code. Does any one know what the fault is or can point me in the right direction please?

Hey all, Managed to get under my partners car at the weekend to service it and change the oil. Whilst there I was quite taken by how clean the engine was, but there was a patch of what looked like oil on the undertray. This was later discovered to be coming (I believe) from the gearbox drain plug. The car has had a new clutch, flywheel and replacement box in the last twelve months and so I can only assume there's an issue with the drain plug or a seal. Looking really closely at the drain plug
