Hi all,

About to buy a new car and would like someon to give it a proper going over. Can anybody recommend a decent, professional valeter in East London area (not someone who is going to 'shine-up' my dash with rancid silicon gloop :eek: )?

I think when he says new, he means a new purchase. The beige interior could do with a decent steam clean by a professional valeter

Mark Underwood (aka the Wax Wizard) and Gossy both come highly recommended, but I don't have either of their contact details. Both will travel and do an amazing job on the car

I'm in Stratford.

It's a new car to me, but it's not new. It belongs to ScoobyChris and has a beige interior which shows the dirt like you wouldn't believe.

I presume you are local to the area. If you can try and remember the name, I'd be really grateful!

I live in Loughton, but I grew up in bow so I know stratford well.

The local dealer in Forest gate (Preston Motors) are excellent (well I've brought 3 cars from them now with no problems).

OK - took a chance with the Yellow Pages and tried out a company called Dial-a-Detail based in London E1. The guy's name is Dale. He arrived 10 minutes early, had all the kit and did a great job. For interior work, he comes very highly recommended!
