I got mine resprayed. Had to drive around without a grille for a day but it looked awesome when the black grille was put on. Cost me £50 in the end. Try plastic and respray shops.

Do it yourself with plasti dip spray. No need to prep the surround and it likely to resist chipping better than paint. It can also be peeled off if you change your mind.

Where can you get good fitting badge-less grills can anyone recommend anyone was going to mod mine but may be easier to just buy one

All my previous BMW's had the grill done in black next day after the purchase but never think to do it to Skoda just maybe because I have 1.6 tdi. The only think was replaced is a vrs steering wheel . I can easy afford VRS but lost passion I had before so now still playing, accasoonally )))
