Subwoofer in major need of help!

Featured Replies

I have a Novex 800watt sub, with a 1000watt max amp, which is also Novex, although I am extremly new to this and don't really know what I am doing and what goes where, I have a standard stereo in my clio 2005 1.2, I will appreciate it if I could have as many tips as possible please :D

You will need to get an amp wiring kit to start with and that will have most of stuff you need,

With you running standard headunit you will need a speaker to rca adaptor to give you outputs for amp

You will need to wire it into rear speaker outputs from headunit, 2 wires for each rear speaker and you will also need to connect little blue wire from wiring kit to ignition live on back of headunit, usually either red or yellow wire,

You then need to run big red wire from battery through into car and down car to boot and the black wire to a decent earth point in car,

then run the rca cables white and red cables from black box to boot aswell, really only need one set as your running a sub and running the amp bridged

How weird; new member, starts two identical topics and doesn't even own a Skoda... am i missing something?
