had my glowplug light come on twice [flashing],so took her in for a check up.the doctors said....its her egr cooler so had it replaced under warranty[expiers in early june].it was an all day opp.been told its a common fault through out the vag group. christ knows how much that would have cost me if i had to pay.thinking of going down the extended warranty road £670 for extra 2 years cover!!

Sorry to hear about your sick lass Yeti. Good to hear she's OK following surgery at the vet. I can't send a get well card from the forum to her from my Yeti so I hope she gets well soon.

Ah, poor girl! Anything to do with exhaust gas is not funny (don't listen to Bob!!) :( Fortunate that she was still NHS (Nice Healthy Skoda) and you didn't have to go Private :peek:

thanks guys,think the cost would have run well into the hundreds[labour alone].had almost three years of trouble free motoring,still mulling over the extended warranty,dealer price is cheeper than waranty wise or warranty direct.
