Configuring an Internet domain(AS)

Featured Replies

Since my last job working in security i've had a career change and been involved in IT related things. I need some advise with this please. I have a 3560 Cisco multilayer switch (we call it MLS7) which does routing which I need to connect it up to 6 other routers (partial mesh with R18-Notts connecting to MLS7) and need to use the internet protocol(bgp). Those 6 routers have their own private AS. I need to set it up so that those ASs are not visible externally. They need to appear as a single public internet domain. This is the part I don't know how to configure.

I know how to configure MLS7 and the eBGP connection to R18-Notts but its the other stuff i'm fuzzy on.No problem configuring the partial mesh design between those 6 routers as i realized i could use another interior protocol like eigrp to ensure full reachability.

Unfortunately the senior engineer who normally does this BGP stuff is off on hol so i'm picking up the work.

thanks
