Air Conditioning Woes - How Much!

Featured Replies

Went to get my air-con re-gassed today. They said it was leaking and would need a new condensor.

£700 for a skoda one and £400 for a non-skoda - Have just got up from the floor.

They also said one of my tyres had the cords showing (think thats what they said!) and would need replacing. I had only just put the R888's back on the car so not sure what has happened there.

Makes the offer of a salary sacrifice lease car scheme at work seem more favourable - least all the repairs and tyres etc are covered!!

Would mean selling the beast though, not sure I could do that!!!

If your hard core enough to run 888's on the road just bin the whole air con thing like I've done.

I know Will just have to open the windows I guess - May have to shop around as it was a main dealer !!

Getting the tyres looked at though as I have a track day on Friday - Luckily I have a couple of new R888's

Those 888's are big money these days ! I went back to road tyres and sacrificed a few seconds a lap.

Haven't missed my air con once btw especially with our shocking weather.

Saved weight, one less thing to go wrong ect.
