Air con compressor

Recommended Posts

You are welcome.

If you have never had the aircon compressor off before it can sit pretty tight due to oxidation of the mounts may take a bit of precision hammering

Yes, remove the clutch if its present then fit a new one. You just have to make sure you get the right spacers underneath. Mine needs a slightly fatter spacer as it rubs slightly and squeeks at low rpm :D

edit: you need to make a counterhold tool. A block of wood with a hole for your socket in works. Around this hole you then need three screws which fit into the clutch and keep it in place whilst you wrench. You can jam the block of wood into the floor as well.
