Done a quick search and it showed that brake lines vibrate and cause a thrumming noise on low speed manoeuvres in 1st and reverse.

Anybody resolved this at the dealers?

Parents yeti does this but dealer diagnosed as faulty front cat and replaced yesterday, exhaust still sounds blowy but vibrating/thrumming noise exists.

Dealer said its a characteristic of the car yet its never done it and is now 2 years old.

Should I suggest they check brakes lines?

Parents not happy with the view of it being a characteristic noise!

Nobody got any ideas/problems?

Heard of fuel pipes chattering on a Fabia (where they pass up the offside suspension turret) but not brake lines on a Yeti. would try another dealer if that's there only suggestion.

Was there a thread way back about the brake lines vibrating on something where they pass under the battery tray :wonder: , I may be wrong.

The other vibrating noise on the 1.2 was the air con pipes where they ran up the engine bay before going through the bulk head.
