Good afternoon folks,

Just changed the clutch, flywheel and slave cylinder... everything went well.

Normally when selecting reverse you would just push the stick down and stick it in to R, now you push it down select R and the stick pops up but it IS in gear.

Any ideas?

Try resetting the gear linkage.. There is a link on here.

+1 for resetting linkage .... not a hard job might want to take battery and battery box out to make it easier

Yeah, I removed the battery and tray and for what it took removed the air intake up to the airbox off as well.

Ok, to revive an old thread.....

I still have this issue and am looking to fix it ASAP.

The problem is down to a lost bush where the gear linkage fixes to the little arm thing. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, what's it called? Is it definitely a bush? I'm just going from memory.
