Dog Gaurd

Featured Replies

Hi I'm new to this forum but would like to ask a quick questions

I have ordered the new Octavia estate (Company Car) Our Buyer told me that a dog guard would be cost 395+VAT and fitting extra.. So I rang my local Skoda an they advised me that there wasn't even a part No for it

Has anybody got 1 or no if there is 1 and the price please

Thanks in advance

I've a 2011 Octavia 4x4 Estate. Dog guard - fitted by dealer, was £85 in Feb 2011. Also have dog guard on a 2012 Yeti. No probz.

There definitely is one as I've seen a picture of a new estate with it fitted. I think the picture may have been on the Skoda website. Not sure of price though.

Sarge.

Price sounds good if it is gold plated - otherwise they are taking the michael.

Got one for my Mk II Octavia estate, don't know if they are the same size/shape but paid approx £90 for the guard itself and fitted myself in 30mins (and I'm a bit of a muppet when it comes to fitting things).

Have a search in the Mk II forum to get an idea of how others have faired with their dog guard.

Cheers.

Mk II dog guard is about £100 and easy to self-fit. However, from the picture I saw the Mk III dog guard fits differently as it seems to have some sort of upper fixing which attaches into the roof area. Perhaps a bit like in the Yeti?

Sarge.
