Hi all

I have a 2007 fabia vrs with about 60.000 miles on the clock, i drove it yesterday no problems at all stopped then went to turn the key and it wont start again, i know about the wire snapping on the starter motor that happened a few weeks ago, the lights will come as normal but it will not turn over, i think that the starter motor has finally stopped, does anybody have any ideas?

Give the starter a tap with the wooden handle of a hammer,whilst someone tries to start it.

If you try the starter with the head lights turned on, do they go dim?

Do you have a live at the starter solenoid?

Check the repaired wiring incase it broke again?
