Where do I put my right foot?

Used cruise control for the first time yesterday. Went to put my foot on the plate that I had in my octyII and .... It has disappeared. Anyone know why?? I thought the car was wider than the II

This has been discussed on another thread! Very disappointing, but coming from the Berb II, I'm actually better off as that also had the floor mounted accelerator so at least you can put your foot under the brake/acc pedals in the Octy III when using cruise, not as good as SWMBOs Octy II tho!

Last September my Kamiq 1.5 DSG 2020reg (regularly serviced) displayed 'Gearbox in Emergency Mode'. Very near home so able to limp home. Dealer took it in and fixed it under extended warranty. All okay until a month ago when it happened again, this time far from home. Switched off the car, restarted and all back to normal and drove perfectly. Yesterday it happened again and only D2 available. Started car today, no problem, all working, no warning sign. I'll be contacting the dealer again

Hi People, If you can spare the time I’d appreciate your input about the following: I bought my Kamiq 1.5 TSI SE in August ’23-it was seven months old, from a Skoda main dealer. In January ’25, at another Skoda main dealer, it went in for its second service where I mentioned that the suspension was creaking from the rear when going over speed bumps. They lubricated the rear suspension bushes and said all was well suspension-wise. It seemed better if not cured so I left it at that. After moving a

I have just found a leak on my front RH shock absorber. The car is fitted with DCC, so I am looking at replacing it with the Monroe "aftermarket parts" and also replacing the protection kits and top mounts while I am at it. Does anybody know what the correct bump stop length is for the iV, or how I can find out?

280 losing coolant

I had a low coolant error flash up the other day (first time ever). Checked coolant level & it was a bit low. Topped it up & will keep monitoring. Question is where has the coolant escaped from? No obvious signs of any leaks. Mileage is 52,500 & next service is away off. Does the 280 have a weep hole in the water pump to indicate a new pump is required?

Hi. Can someone send me an aliexpress/ Amazon link or OEM part number for the correct plastic door card trim fittings please? I broke a couple when fitting my speakers and there were enough left intact to put the door card back on but I’m planning on removing the door cards again for an upcoming project so it would be handy to have a few spare to replace the missing ones and just in case some more go. Thanks!
