after the recent issues ive been having with my brakes squeeling, to find that it was just a clean they needed :/ . i now have another issue, reversing off my drive today, display appears on radio, 1 short beep, then a long beep then splat, no reversing sensors :(.

 

i have had the rear wheel off now and took a look at the sensors inside but cant find anything obvious grr!

if i turn the ignition off and back on again i get the same beep when going into reverse, then the sensors just turn off again until next time i turn the ignition off.

 

ive been told the sensors 'click' when turned on so ive systematically gone through all 4 of them, and the furthest drivers side sensor doesnt click 'suprise' so im guessing its knackered?

 

any ideas?

 

if i need another sensor, is there anywhere i can go to avoid paying ripoff skoda prices of £99?

My Dad has a £21 set from Maplin on his Corolla Verso.  100% reliable and much better than my OEM shoite!
