I have Superb 2.5tdi 2007model. My ac is not working properly. some times it chills some times it is not even cools the front seats. Checked AC fan found ok. No fault code on VCDS. Checked at AC Guys. They found the gas is ok & top up some more. But still there is no improvement.

When the engine is running idle ac is working fine. As soon the throttle is pushed it cuts off. Some cooling is comming at higher rpms after changing the mode to ECON & back to Auto.

Needs help !

Could be the AC clutch which is driven by the same belt as the generator, water pump etc. Then there's the various flaps, that could be stuck or broken and not opening up properly to let in the cooled air.

See what the pollen filter looks like, try it without it if it improves fit new filter.
