need advice asap

Featured Replies

had my car in the garage today to get my turbo checked as there was oil in my boost pipes. was told there was nothing wrong with my turbo, but was advised to get an oil catch can fitted can any one help me with where i could get one or a link to what i need. as in the catch can and hoses. any help will be great.

thanks luke.

Oil catch cans take oil vapour from the crankcase feed on the top of the camcover, not from boost pipework.

Oil from the crank case vent gets fed back into the intake which is why it all ends up gunked up

yeah he said that he would block some pipe off on the intake where the oil is coming from and fit a catch can.

Have a search for elephant mod. That will help you.

but clean it out first   so you know where your up to  :-)
