Shall order a new octavia but have hard time deciding, because I shall have 4x4. so it stands between two engines. Tsi 180 or 150 Tdi, the problem is that I want both TDI and dsg but in the current situation can not be combined. Anyone have a 180 Tsi who can tell what the approximate consumption is on. Will run some with trailers and then it's really nice to Dsg.

I would put money on a diesel, it is better if you are going to tow a trailer with.

It's even nicer in other ways with better torque.

I doubt you'll really feel a difference of only 40Nm. The consumption figures will be quite different though. The TSI will probably use 25% more fuel than the TDI.

My 1.8 TSI does about 30-33mpg in city and about 40-45mpg in open road.
